An impressive list of successfully completed projects underlines Jackson Semler’s extensive skills and capabilities. Extending from very large-scale infrastructure projects, through to smaller boutique extensions and refurbishments, we have the ability to deliver successful outcomes.
Here are just some of the projects Jackson Semler have delivered over the past twenty years.
RSL Refurbishment Works
Jackson Semler completed initial make safe works for the building in March 2019 that allowed the RSL to continue to trade on the upper level. Following on from those works - staged refurbishment works were undertaken to reinstate the ground floor and open Garrisons Restaurant. New Escalators have been provided at the entry foyer enabling direct access to the upper foyer area.
Repairs and maintenance on two concrete bridges on Rita Island Road. This project was a design and construct contract which involved the replacing of defective and missing stressing bars in addition to new guard rails and other structural maintenance as determined by the Bridge Inspection Report.
Magnetic Island XBase Walkway
Replacement of the 2 sections of walkway along Nelly Bay Rd from Base Backpackers heading towards Picnic Bay.
To prevent future deterioration from termites and rust, the new walkway was constructed from a Fibre Reinforced Plastic to promote longevity of the structure and minimise maintenance costs.
Jackson Semler was established in 2013 by the Directors, Senior Executives and other key personnel from TCS Civil and Building. Some of the above projects were completed by Jackson Semler staff while working at TCS Civil and Building.
